Tommy, Noah, Brendan and Dax chilling with their Jamba Juice
We are fortunate to have an abundance of fun boys living at our Welch Road Complex, and we refer to them as such - the Welch Road Boys. Even though their sizes appear quite different, they are actually within several months of each other's birthdays. We go to the park, on walks and many other outings together. Today we took the Marguerite, Stanford's free shuttle bus, down to the train station and watched the trains come and go. Then we walked around downtown a bit and got back on the bus and headed to the center of campus to get some Jamba Juice. We sat by the main fountain on Stanford's campus and watched the crazy coeds playing volleyball in the fountain. (Shouldn't they be studying? How are they going to get good jobs to pay off all the massive debt they must be accumulating?)
The boys loved seening the trains go by, especially the Express which did not stop at the station but flew through with great speed and lots of horn honks. It was fun! We will miss the Welch Road boys as all of us are transitory here - and some of us leaving very soon!
