On our last visit to SLC, we decided to stay up at the resort at Solitude. We had always wanted to try it out and it was great fun! Dave and I took turns snowboarding - one of us would go in the morning while the other watched the kids and then we'd switch at lunch time. It was very convenient as we could walk to the lifts, but we did miss going snowboarding together since one was always with the kids.
The kids also had tons of fun. Tommy loved swimming in the snow outside and throwing snowballs into the pool. They also loved the game room. I liked being up in the mountains and sitting in the hot tub in the afternoon. We also had a great time when my Mom, Shannon, Ben and Abby came up to visit and swim with us! Ah winter is great!

ooo, that looks nice. i think we might have to try that out sometime - - and leave the kids home with a babysitter!
Yikes, i just read about dave's appendectomy. so glad that he got it out in time and that his recovery went so smoothly. i love his pathology report! ha! that made me laugh. i can't wait to show it to john. he will enjoy it, i'm sure.
